Scripture:

““The days are coming,” declares the Sovereign Lord, “when I will send a famine through the land— not a famine of food or a thirst for water, but a famine of hearing the words of the Lord.” Amos‬ ‭8:11‬ ‭(NIV‬‬)

Application:

As we develop our praise to God through daily reading, prayer, and meditation on His Word, how terrible it seems to have periods of no contact with the Bible. We who make God's Word part of our everyday lives are truly blessed. We should help others develop their Way out of the Word famine that spreads in the world.

Prayer:

Father God, thank You for making Your Word more accessible even in this world that resists You. Help us encourage others to know You by Your Word. Amen.
