Be it done for you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed instantly. Matthew 15:26-28 RSV Application: When they are ready, unholy people may understand and respect God's Word. We shouldn't waste God's Word on antagonistic people, but if desperation cultivates an open heart in them, they too will receive the blessings that the Lord Jesus Christ makes available to the whole world. Their small faith may grow to great proportions. Prayer: Teach us to teach like You, Jesus. Amen.  Scripture: "But that’s not the way it will be with you. Whoever wants to be great among you will be your servant. Whoever wants to be first among you will be the slave of all," Mark 10:43-44 CEB Application: So many people want to lead, but it seems so few of those people want to serve. They've got it all wrong! Serve to lead. Don't seek high office, seek high responsibility and higher accountability. Always feel that the gifts and opportunities you've been given are obligations to help others less fortunate. Prayer: Father, only You are our true leader. Make those who govern over us accountable for all their wrongdoing, but please assist those who are truly taking the role of servants for our benefit. Thank You. Amen. Prayer: Father, we know Your Word is holy. We adore it, live by it, and want to always be prepared to share it. But we need Your direction on how to keep it holy and protect ourselves. Amen. |
