 We could go through life attending the right schools, getting right jobs, befriending the right people, but doing everything for the wrong reason. Sure, on paper, your biography looks right, but if your motives are wrong, everything you’ve done right turns out wrong.
Are you making the right turns in life? As you sit next to the Lord, you listen to your list of your credentials. Which things do you think the Lord will be most pleased with? Make sure you do something every day to enhance that part of your eulogy.  The history of mankind is a history filled with violence. But the love of God has been everywhere on earth longer than man. Just like the wind, God's love is everywhere and is stronger than any item of evil man can make. You just can't see it directly. But like the wind, it's all around you. Scriptural reference: “The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.” John 3:8 NIV Application: Take a few minutes and close your eyes. Breathe. Feel the breath of God filling your lungs and your life. |
