Scripture:
““How beautiful are your tents, Jacob, your dwelling places, Israel! “God brought them out of Egypt; they have the strength of a wild ox. They devour hostile nations and break their bones in pieces; with their arrows they pierce them.” Numbers 24:5, 8 (NIV) Application: The world may see us as detestable, but God sees us as beautiful. The world may plot for our destruction, but God strengthens us to overcome. Prayer: Father, help us see ourselves as Your beloved people, and strengthen us to conquer evil. Amen.

Scripture:
“One generation commends your works to another; they tell of your mighty acts.” Psalm 145:4 (NIV) Application: No one who's good at something became good on their own. Remember to give glory to God for every helpful skill we possess, and teach others. Prayer: Dear Jesus, as we teach others, help us remain patient and humble. We give You the glory. Amen. Scripture:
“And the Lord told him: “Listen to all that the people are saying to you; it is not you they have rejected, but they have rejected me as their king. As they have done from the day I brought them up out of Egypt until this day, forsaking me and serving other gods, so they are doing to you.” 1 Samuel 8:7-8 (NIV) Application: Imagine giving your very best of everything to someone who tramples your gifts into the dirt. How much more it must hurt God to have sacrificed His only Son to save people who remain stiff-necked and prideful. We can give God joy by letting others know how Jesus is Resurrected from the dead and lives in us. Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, we are sorry that the world still rejects You and the divinity of Your Son, Jesus Christ. We pray that each day we can help more people believe in Jesus Christ as Savior. Amen. |
