"Wait for me!"

Scriptural Reference:

“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9 NIV

Application:
Did you ever want to get somewhere exciting fast, but you had to wait for someone? Maybe you were on a tour, or on the way to a movie. But for some reason, someone was a bit tardy and you had to wait. Christians happily anticipate the day the Lord returns. All wrongs will be made right, and eternal bliss awaits all who are deemed righteous by God. 

But we have to wait.

Maybe its because God wants all those persons who want to be deemed righteous to get their acts together. Maybe, just maybe, one of those persons was once you.

Dear God, I thank You that You waited for me.
