Scripture:
"There are six things which the Lord hates, Yes, seven which are an abomination to Him...one who spreads strife among brothers." Proverbs 6:16,19 NASB

Application:
There are many temptations for the church to split on the issue of race. We need to see each other as all being made in the image of God. Genesis 1:27. When we are born, we have the features that God wanted us to have. We reflect Him. No one is better than anyone else. Some people look at flowers and see the unified beauty of a bouquet.
If that’s what gets you going, then try to see people of different nationalities as a bouquet.

Prayer:
Father, please heal the divisions in Your church, starting with me. Amen.
