Scripture: Now an angel of the Lord said to Philip, “Go south to the road—the desert road—that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.” So he started out, and on his way he met an Ethiopian eunuch, an important official in charge of all the treasury of the Kandake (which means “queen of the Ethiopians”). This man had gone to Jerusalem to worship, Acts 8:26-27 NIV Application: Advanced travel plans are superb ways to minimize troubles along a journey. With careful planning, we use the tools God gave us to reach our goals. But a history of successes in travel planning may make us blind to opportunities that don't reveal themselves when we are miles and months away from that great trip. Keep an open space in the agenda. God may want us to venture off the charted path, where the rewards for others and ourselves may be far better than any plan that we could create. Prayer: We want to explore the greater possibilities You have for us, dear God. Let us know when, where, and how to follow Your lead when it diverts from our personal planning. Protect and bless us and all whom we meet along the Way. Amen. Comments are closed.
