Scripture: “But instead, one brother takes another to court—and this in front of unbelievers!” 1 Corinthians 6:6 (NIV) "If they still refuse to listen, tell it to the church; and if they refuse to listen even to the church, treat them as you would a pagan or a tax collector." Matthew 18:17 (NIV) Application: Christians have serious conflicts. It's best to stay out of profane courts, but at times we may feel we have no other choice but to seek courtroom justice in order to live peaceably in our secular societies. If we can't agree on scriptural points of resolution, we may find ourselves having to decide whether, or when, to concede our rights. Prayer: Convict us, Lord Jesus, on how to resolve our Christian family conflicts and simultaneously preserve the glory of Your church. Amen. Comments are closed.
