Scripture:
“But Abraham replied, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony.” Luke 16:25 (NIV) Application: Some social commentators use the term "uterine lottery" to describe how many people enjoy lives that are materially and physically exceptional, but not as a result of their hard work or merit. It's because of to whom, where, when they were born, and what they look like. These fortunate people would be foolish to look down on their less fortunate brethren. Godly justice is always served, although not always when we can see it. We all should realize that, but for God's grace and mercy, we could be among the least fortunate. Prayer: Dear God, thank You for every little blessing that You've given me. I don't take them for granted, and I pray that I can make life better for others. Amen.
