The Simple Words that Surpass Our Mightiest Deeds.

Scriptural reference:
"But the righteousness that is by faith says: “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’ ” (that is, to bring Christ down) “or ‘Who will descend into the deep?’ ” (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim: If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:6-9 (NIV)

​Application:
God accepts us when we accept Him. His hand is extended to us.
We need not make this overly complicated.
We can’t do what Jesus already has done. That would either bring Him down to our level or exalt ourselves as His equal. Either way, it wouldn't work. It's based on the false belief that we can make ourselves worthy of God's grace. That reduces the power of Jesus’ blood, which was shed to save us.
​Our mission is simple: say Jesus is Lord, and believe He lives!

Prayer:
Dear God, please help me stop doubting Your love and what You've done to save me. I believe Jesus is Your Son and my Lord, that He died for my sins, and that He arose from the dead. Jesus lives. Thank You for the gift of salvation, something I couldn’t earn on my own. Because of Your love for me, I will live forever with Your peace and love. Amen.
