Scripture: "So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise." Gal 3:26-29 Application: To those who have ever been ostracized, misunderstood, or ignored (which should be everyone at some point), has there ever been a better manifesto, Constitutional Bill of Rights, or creed in all of history than the words of Galatians 3:26-29? Of course not. God welcomes all. As Christians, we have an obligation to do the same. Matthew 25:40 tells us, “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me,’" and "...whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me’" (verse 45). Prayer: Dear Father God, melt our hearts, destroy our prejudices, and open our arms to those who suffer prejudice and ostracism in this world. Amen. Comments are closed.
