The Advocate of advocates.

Scripture:
“My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.”‭‭1 John‬ ‭2:1‬ ‭(NIV‬‬)

Application:
No matter how skilled we are in our jobs, we fall short of perfection. And although we strive to live sinless lives, we fail. And so, despite our attempts, we never make it to the level of spotlessness required to be in the presence of God, let alone live with Him forever. 
But we have a Lawyer, an Advocate, Who not only pleads our cases, but also had taken our penalties upon Himself:
Jesus. 
We should not hesitate to realize His worth and call on Him, with humble gratitude, to plead our cases. 

Prayer:
We are so thankful that You have done all that needs to be done for us to be forgiven of all our sins and washed immaculately clean so that we may live in God's graces forever, dear Lord Jesus Christ, our Advocate. Amen. ​
