Scriptural reference:
“And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.” Luke 22:19 NIV Application: Imagine someone you love calls you and asks you over for dinner. You arrive to find your host has prepared a wonderful meal. As you eat, you engage in the most meaningful discussion you’ve ever had with anyone. At the end of the meal, your host touches you and says, "This was the last meal I'll have with you on earth. When you eat, please think of me. That keeps me alive in your heart." You'd be flabbergasted. Certainly, every meal would include a prayer in which you'd give honor to your loved one. Give thanks at every meal. Jesus is closer when you do. Prayer: Thank You, Lord. I remember You.
