Scripture: "I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you." Psalms 32:8 NASB Application: The teaching chain begins with a relationship with God, Who teaches us, as this beautiful dialogue between God and a sinner says: 'I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you...." (Psalms 32:8) Thereafter, the refreshed and forgiven sinner teaches others. "'Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and sustain me with a willing spirit. Then I will teach transgressors Your ways, And sinners will be converted to You." (Psalms 51:12-13) And the teaching not only is observable by the contrite, but also the recalcitrant evildoers and "haters," because eventually, even they will see that every other way is wrong and hopefully they will come to God. "Show me a sign for good, That those who hate me may see it and be ashamed, Because You, O Lord , have helped me and comforted me."( Psalms 86:17) In other words, our relationship with God is constant teaching and sharing from above to laterally. Prayer: Teach us to be good teachers of Your Ways, dear God. Please keep being patient with us and everyone else as we learn and live. Amen. Comments are closed.
