Scripture:
He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us.
2 Corinthians 1:4 NLT

Application:
We pray to God, as the Father of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, for relief. He is the Source of all things good, including comfort from our troubles. When He provides us with that comfort, God expects us to become sources of comfort for others in response. Like a flowing stream, comfort issues from God, through His blessed people, and circulates through the world.

Prayer:
Dear God, we pray not just for our own comfort, but also the comfort of others. We offer ourselves as vessels to provide Your comfort to them. Amen.
