Scripture:
“Drive out the mocker, and out goes strife; quarrels and insults are ended.” Proverbs 22:10 (NIV) Application: Constant sarcasm is not healthy. When we're around people who can only find fault in others and express their attitudes in condescending ways, our relationships are bitter. But it's not always in other people. We ourselves are guilty of mockery. Recognizing that is the first step. Next, drive it out of our speech by finding something positive to say about others. If that's too hard a task, then at least stay silent. Prayer: Dear God, I'm thankful You've given me the ability to see things through other's viewpoints. I pray to use Your loving and forgiving eyes when talking about others. Thank You. Amen.
