​"Samaritan Woman, the Evangelist"

Scripture:
"So the woman left her waterpot and went into the city, and said to the people, “Come, see a man who told me all the things that I have done; this is not the Christ, is He?” They left the city and were coming to Him."
John 4:28,30

"[John the Baptist]  said, “I am the voice of one calling out in the wilderness, ‘Make the way of the Lord straight,’ as Isaiah the prophet said.”
John 1: 23

Application:
The dictionary defines "evangelist" as, "a person who seeks to convert others to the Christian faith, especially by public preaching."
Don't be surprised to discover that the people who are the most effective evangelists probably don't consider themselves to be evangelists at all. 
That may include you.
Be yourself. Tell your own story. 
No one else is more qualified than you.

Lord, we pray that we can tell our stories in our own ways and bring Your help to a helpless world. Amen.
