Scripture: ““In your anger do not sin”: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry,” Ephesians 4:26 (NIV) Application: Anger comes in different ways with different people. From the Bible, it seems we need not be ashamed when we feel anger. Rather, we should be ashamed when we let anger rule us. 1. Before it surfaces, pray to God that anger will not cause us to act it out in a sinful way. 2. Also, confine anger to a limited time period. It can be expressed (not 100% suppressed), but confined to a short time period. Prayer: Father, when we get angry, guide us gently but convincingly toward Your Way of ruling over it so that it won't rule over us. Amen.
