Scripture:
“But other Jews were jealous; so they rounded up some bad characters from the marketplace, formed a mob and started a riot in the city. They rushed to Jason’s house in search of Paul and Silas in order to bring them out to the crowd.” Acts 17:5 (NIV) Application: When you're doing the Lord's work, you can always count on a group of mean-spirited and jealous people out there ready to use any means, including violence, to try and stop your progress. It may last for a while, but not forever. Don’t expect God’s work to be stopped by them. Prayer: Dear God, the bad guys are out there again. If I’m just imagining my opposition, please make it clear to me that I’m OK. But if they’re really out to get me, protect me. Guide me. Let me know You’re here and everything’s going to be alright. I’m ready to do Your work. Thanks. Amen.
