Scripture: “Do not be misled: "Bad company corrupts good character." 1 Corinthians 15:33 (NIV) “Come now, let us settle the matter," says the LORD. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.” Isaiah 1:18 (NIV) “Woe to me!” I cried. “I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the Lord Almighty.” Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar. With it he touched my mouth and said, “See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for.” Isaiah 6:6,7 (NIV) Application: In nature, rot spreads from contaminated items and infects clean items. In social relationships, bad characters corrupt good people. But in God, the reverse happens. Only God makes something clean out of something unclean. Prayer: Please make us healthy and keep disease, corruption, and sin from us, dear Lord. Amen. Comments are closed.
