Scripture:
“If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised. And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith. And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins. But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep.” 1 Corinthians 15:13-14, 17, 20 (NIV) Application: The dictionary defines a fulcrum as the point on which a lever rests or is supported and on which it pivots. If the fulcrum isn’t secure, nothing can be lifted. We Christians build our faith on one thing: Jesus Christ, our Savior, lived on earth, died for our sins, and HE ROSE FROM THE DEAD. Without that resurrection fact—and it is a fact, not an opinion—our faith in Christ is in vain. That means we are going to die without salvation, and the thought of that is frightening. But we celebrate because our faith fulcrum is in place. All Christians will be resurrected and live with Jesus. Pray and work so that many, many more will take hold of this fulcrum, too. Prayer: Dear God, we Christians believe that Jesus Christ is and has done all that He said He would do, including rising from the dead. Thank You. Please, help me get this message out to the world. I love You! Amen.
