Application:

It's hard for us to endure insults. But we must focus on our mission: is it to glorify ourselves or to glorify the Lord? With the right focus, we can endure insults with dignity...and with practice, maybe even with happiness!

Prayer:

Jesus, we know that insults will come. Please help us grow into stronger representatives of You and not be set back by the world's insults. In fact, help us rejoice, just as Your Word advises. Amen.
