Scripture: And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me. Psalms 50:15 KJV These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: John 17:1 KJV Application: It's a wonder why the term "social media" hasn't been shortened to what it really is, "so ME." It's all about individual self promotion. But we Christians know better. We glorify God, or as Christ prayed, "glorify Thee..." There's no glory in ourselves. No reward awaits us at the end of the day, or at the end of our lives, if all our time was spent self promoting. But when we glorify God, we're delivered from all present troubles. We also will rest in God's kingdom forever. Not "so me," only "Glo-Thee." Prayer: Father, only You have all our glory. Amen. Comments are closed.
