Application:

It's hard to believe, but some people come hard-wired to fight. They enter every situation expecting to have conflict.

Most times, they get it.

When we encounter them, we should first extend the same kindness to them as we would any close Christian sister or brother. But if that doesn't work, don't automatically fight back.

We must retain dignity and Christ's grace.

Prayer:

Father, each day presents opportunities to battle or make peace. Encourage us to use the indwelling Holy Spirit to live as peacefully as possible. Amen.
