Scripture: “But when the king came in to see the guests, he noticed a man there who was not wearing wedding clothes. He asked, ‘How did you get in here without wedding clothes, friend?’ The man was speechless. “Then the king told the attendants, ‘Tie him hand and foot, and throw him outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’ Matthew 22:11-13 NIV Application: When Jesus instructed us in the wedding feast parable, He gave us the entire message of salvation for the entire world in a nutshell. Anyone is invited to become a Christian, "the bad as well as the good," as Jesus' parable teaches. But there's a standard that applies to everyone. Be real. God will hold accountable those who falsely pretend to be Christians. If they’re fake, they'll be tossed out just like the other sinners who never surrendered to God's will. No one can fool God. Yet He is merciful to all who humble themselves, repent, and submit to His divine will. Prayer: We truly surrender to You, Lord, and are so thankful that You invited us to be included in Your Holy Kingdom. Amen. Comments are closed.
