Scripture:
“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16 NLT

Application:
God is our guide to love. He started the definition of love in the most selfless act in all time: He gave. Gave His only Son.
What's our response?
Love. And we can't be loving of we aren't giving. Although we can't measure quantities of loving and giving, we know in our hearts when we're truly giving enough love. It works opposite of what we intuitively think:

The more we give love, the fuller our hearts become.

Prayer:
Fill us with the urge to love and give, God. Amen.
