​Lord, draw near or go away?

Scripture:
"When Simon Peter realized what had happened, he fell to his knees before Jesus and said, “Oh, Lord, please leave me—I’m such a sinful man.” His partners, James and John, the sons of Zebedee, were also amazed. Jesus replied to Simon, “Don’t be afraid! From now on you’ll be fishing for people!” For he was awestruck by the number of fish they had caught, as were the others with him. And as soon as they landed, they left everything and followed Jesus."
Luke 5:8-11 NLT

"Those tending the pigs ran off, went into the town and reported all this, including what had happened to the demon-possessed men. Then the whole town went out to meet Jesus. And when they saw him, they pleaded with him to leave their region."
Matthew 8:33,34 NIV

Application:
Everyone will have an encounter with Jesus and be presented with His awesome glory, divinity, and power. It will be unmistakable because His divinity will emphasize our sinful state. And then everyone will have to make a free choice whether to go with Him or tell Him to leave.

Prayer:
Father, we pray that we can serve You by presenting Jesus in His pure form here on earth. We want every person will have the opportunity to make the right choice. Amen.
