​Looking for help in all the wrong places.

Scripture:
"I raise my eyes toward the mountains. Where will my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the maker of heaven and earth." 121:1,2 (CEB)
"Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, who does not change like shifting shadows." James 1:17 (CEB)

Applications:
Like David on the run, we often wonder if help will come from the powerful establishments of earth. 
Don't count on it. 
They're shaky and self-minded. And if help comes THROUGH them, it's the Lord deploying His faithful workers to come to our rescue. Help is a good thing, and it comes from a Source much higher than the mountains or any earthly establishment. 
It comes from the Lord, Who is reliable.Only the Lord.

Prayer:
When we ask for help, Lord please grant us assistance. Although we are grateful to all who were instruments of Your work, You get our total praise. Amen.
