Scripture:
Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.

Application:
How many of us--Christians--spend time doctoring up and adorning our social media platforms to make ourselves look more "influential" or "interesting?" Lots.
Why do we spend time trying to please people? People are fickle. Pleasing Jesus Christ should be our only objective.

Prayer:
Dear Lord, while we want to be agreeable and approachable to others, it's only You Whom we want to please. Help us keep that straight in our lives. Amen.
