Scripture:
“Peter and the apostles replied: We don't obey people. We obey God.” Acts 5:29 (CEV)

Application:
We can go around trying to win the approval of any number people, and no matter how hard we try, we won’t successfully make everyone happy. Rather than trying to find that safe niche in the world—which doesn’t exist—be true to God. Be polite, but forget the rest.

Prayer:
Give us clarity of purpose, and bravery to resist worldly opinion. We want to please You, dear Lord. Amen.
