His will be done

His will be done

Scripture:
"your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven."
Matthew 6:10 NIV

Application:
God's will is more complicated than saying God wants to control everything that happens. His will includes having some of His creation also having their own will. Ideally, He wants us to love Him and obey His instruction, but not because He is a dictator. He isn't. Its because He knows that following His will makes us better at being ourselves.

Prayer:
When we pray that Your will be done, Father, help us see that Your will should be ours as well. Amen.
