High enlightenment requires high responsibility

Scripture:
"But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more." Luke 12:48 (KJV)

"For verily I say unto you, that many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them." Matthew 13:17 (KJV)

Application:
In this age, we Christians have been favored to receive incredible enlightenment about God and His plan of salvation. But with such favor comes responsibility. God will have a higher standard of accountability toward those to whom He has given much. All of us who are enlightened to God's Word should use what God has given us to live faithfully, and to help those in need, both spiritually and physically.
