Happy Spirit-Expansion Day! / Re- Birthday

“Therefore we do not become discouraged (utterly spiritless, exhausted, and wearied out through fear). Though our outer man is [progressively] decaying and wasting away, yet our inner self is being [progressively] renewed day after day.”

"Do not gather and heap up and store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust and worm consume and destroy, and where thieves break through and steal.
But gather and heap up and store for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust nor worm consume and destroy, and where thieves do not break through and steal;"

Application:
Every creak and pop of our aging joints should remind us that it's the sound of our Godly spirits expanding.

Father, help us always focus on the great eternal treasure we're building ahead of us, and give us the words to encourage others, too! Amen
