God wins souls, we don’t

Scripture:
"Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don't look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too."
Philippians 2:3,4 NLT

Application:
We should go and help others be good followers of Christ. Our motivation must be out of a genuine concern for their relationship with God, not trying to impress our church with a growing count of people whose "souls" we may want to claim we won.
We don't win souls. God does.
If we try to take credit, we're being vain.

Prayer:
Use us to build Your church, keeping us mindful that it's You doing the work, not us. Amen.
