God, free will, and your own personality.

Scripture:
“For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them…” Romans 12:4-6 (ESV)


Application:
God doesn’t force us to do anything, even to serve Him or to love Him. Like good parents or friends who predict whether you’d be a match for a mate they select, God knows your personality. With 100% accuracy, He knows how you’ll react in any given situation.


That’s how He uses us.


God will use us to advance His divine purpose, whether we are good or evil. If we put ourselves in His hands, He will shape us in His image and use us for good works.


Prayer:
Loving Father, I’m glad You love me so much that You don’t make me conform. On my own free will, I choose to be molded by You so that I can serve You and do something every day to make the world a better place. Amen.
