Scripture:
Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover or pretext for evil, but [use it and live] as bond-servants of God.
1 PETER 2:16 AMP

Application:
No one is free without God. When we first decide to serve Him, we taste what freedom truly is. There's a test we can easily use to determine if we are really serving God or if we are pretending to be Christ's followers.

Have our speech and actions changed from our former behavior as sinners?
Do we ask Jesus, through prayer and Bible instruction, to help us flee from evil deeds and thoughts?

There are mental, verbal, or behavioral signs of a "free person.” Seek help. Get free. Serve others.
