Scripture:
"But God said to him, 'Fool! This night your soul is required of you, and the things you have prepared, whose will they be?' So is the one who lays up treasure for himself and is not rich toward God." Luke 12:20-21 (ESV)

Application:
Those who obsess about winning in the short 70, 80 or so years on this earth will be losers in the billions upon billions years of eternal life.

Prayer:
Help us dismiss the riches and fame of this life and yearn for the treasures of Your Kingdom, dear Lord Jesus. Amen.
