Application:
When we choose to follow Jesus, we choose to follow the Light that existed alongside God from the beginning. Being of that eternal Light, darkness can't extinguish or grasp the Light within us.

Prayer:
We worship the Light You created, Lord our God, and we accept Your Light as part of our eternal protection and existence as we pierce darkness. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
