Scripture:
He told them, “Whoever divorces his wife and marries someone else commits adultery against her. And if a woman divorces her husband and marries someone else, she commits adultery.”
Mark 10:11-12 NLT

Application:
Jesus was absolutely clear: marriage is sacred. We shouldn't try to meet our spouses halfway in a disagreement, but all the way. Tensions will occur. Miscommunication will trip us up. But try to find a path that leads to reconciliation. Get Christian counseling. Get away from the problem. Focus on scripture and the good points of our spouses.
Jesus is pleased when we try our best. Call on Him for help.

Jesus, marriages need Your help to thrive. Bless all who are committed to Christian marriages. Amen.
