Scripture:
"God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind". 2 Timothy 1:7

"But when [Peter] saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, "Lord, save me!" Matthew 14:30.

Application:
As humans, we have a natural inclination to fear things that we believe will harm us. Fear is a reality, but like Peter, we may rebound from fear and become mighty workers to advance God's will. But it all starts with a plea: "Lord save me!"

Prayer:
Lord, help us overcome fear and become mighty in what we do every day. We give all glory to You. Amen.
