Scripture: "...encourage one another daily, as long as it is called "Today," so that none of you may be hardened by sin's deceitfulness." (Hebrews 3:13). "But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong." (2 Corinthians 12:9,10) Application: We may be doing a disservice to each other if we criticize fellow Christians because they confess their weaknesses. Ironically, it's not a sign of weakness to admit we are weak. Scripturally, it's a sign of strength. * Encourage, don't condemn. Prayer: Help us believe You are the Source of all strength for others and ourselves, dear Lord. Amen. Comments are closed.
