Clayperson or Believer?

Scripture:

Application:
Among the so-called seven enemies of Israel were the clay-dwelling Girgashites, who built their foundations of human logic and things they could actually experience with their bodily senses. A lot like "Doubting Thomas" of John 20:24-29 (and maybe a whole lot like many of us, too). True faith and freedom comes after we've escaped traditional belief in only the observable things and allow ourselves to be instructed, comforted, and encouraged by the Spirit of the Lord, Christ Jesus.


Prayer:
Father God, as the dad pleaded in Mark 9:24, help us defeat unbelief. Show us how Your Spirit works daily in our lives. Amen.
