​Buying Blood.

Application:
Biologically speaking, blood is incredibly valuable. With its power to bring nutrients and oxygen to our organs and cleanse the body of toxins, human blood may be the most valuable substance that can be transferred from one person to the next.
But there's more.
Biblically speaking, a blood sacrifice had a redemptive value beyond any other sacrifice. The blood of innocent animals was used to erase sin and restore broken relationships.
Still, there's more.
The blood of Jesus has a power above all other blood. No other blood has the power to bring any sinner, no matter how evil, into right standing with God. No other blood retains its power without an expiration date. No other blood not only cleanses us while we live on earth, but also assures us eternal life with God.
Don't ever take Jesus's blood lightly.

Dear God, I marvel at what You've done for me. Thank You for sacrificing the innocent blood of Your dear Son, Jesus Christ, for me. I'll never take that for granted. Amen.
