Application:
We want to help others. That's Christian. But we Christians are works in progress, too. We are right in knowing that the world needs Jesus Christ. But Jesus tells us to not behave as if we are pristine little messiahs who've come to solve everyone's problems.
There's only One Messiah, and He's already come. Jesus Christ. Hallelujah.

Prayer:
We want help others, Lord, so please help us to not be hypocrites as we try to do Your will. Make every one of us see our own shortcomings clearly before we go help others. Then, guide us in removing those personal shortcomings. Amen.
