Be on God's side.Resist violence and war.

"...[Israel's] adversaries have said, ‘We are not guilty, Inasmuch as they [Israel] have sinned against the Lord who is the habitation of righteousness..."(Jeremiah 50:7) NASB


“Because you are glad, because you are jubilant, O you who pillage My heritage [Israel]...Your mother will be greatly ashamed...will be humiliated. Behold, she will be the least of the nations, A wilderness, a parched land and a desert." (Jeremiah 50:11-12) NASB

I admit that when I look at history and see nations declaring that they are doing what is right when they invade, plunder, attack, and destroy, I sometimes wonder, "were they really doing the work of God?" All nations self-justify, and even pagan nations will use God's name to say they were right. The Bible proves this isn't new. But this self-justification is often self-delusion.
Resist violence.
Resist war.
Those who don't will meet God's wrath.

Lord, I pray that we will get on the always right side: God's side.
