​Anger sucks

Scripture:
"...an angry person doesn’t produce God’s righteousness."

“ Be angry without sinning. Don’t let the sun set on your anger.”
Ephesians 4:26 CEB

Application:
It's best to get over anger fast, because nothing good comes out of it. For instance:

• Food prepared by an angry cook may be filling, but it isn't tasty.
• Art produced by an angry artist may be raw, but it isn't pleasing.
• Money made by an angry man may be abundant, but it isn't beneficial.
• Laws made by an angry politician may control, but they aren't fair.
• Commands handed down by an angry boss may be productive, but they aren't cohesive.

The list is endless. Anger allows expression of every bad human characteristic that separates us from God. By definition, acting out of anger is sin.

Prayer:
Lord, we ask Your help to curb our sinful desire to act out of anger. Amen.
