​A good house in a bad neighborhood

Scripture:
"Yet I will restore the fortunes of Moab In the latter days,” declares the Lord . Thus far the judgment on Moab."
Jeremiah 48:47 NASB

"But Ruth said, 'Do not urge me to leave you or turn back from following you; for where you go, I will go, and where you lodge, I will lodge. Your people shall be my people, and your God, my God.'"
Ruth 1:16 NASB

Application:
There's hope for everyone who keeps their heart open to God's calling. Moab, filled with descendants of the incestuous union of Lot and his daughters, were far, far from being Godly people. Their practices were nefarious to what God wanted His people to mimick. But remember, God will pluck His faithful people out of any nation (e.g., recall Ruth, the Moabite? Ruth 1:16). We may be situated in an unGodly neighborhood, but our home is with God, and He'll never abandon His home.
But let's go further.
Pray that our entire nation, that "bad neighborhood," will reform and be saved.

Prayer:
We open our hearts and minds to be saved by You Father, and we pray that our nation will do the same. Amen.
