Application:
Many of us know poverty. We understand what it feels like to have to little money to pay all the bills, dress fine, eat well, and save for rainy days. If God blesses us with relief from poverty, we should remember how it feels, so we can have mercy.

Prayer:
Father, we know that You supply the needs of all people. We pray that the poor will have their needs met. We offer ourselves to help You help them. Amen.
