We are lifelines

Scripture:
"In the same way then, there has also come to be at the present time a remnant according to God’s gracious choice."
Romans 11:4

"Yet I will leave seven thousand in Israel, all the knees that have not bowed to Baal and every mouth that has not kissed him.”
1Kings 19:18

Application:
Many people despair in this present day of secluded existence. It's natural. God created us to be sociable beings, but always prudently sociable.
This is too hard for many to handle. Sadly, there's daily fatalistic despair especially among young people. "Fatalistic," as in suicidal.

We are the lifeline, literally, for more people than we know.

Take this as time to get to the core relationship with God. We must take care of ourselves so that we can help others. God may be preserving us to be a remnant this lost world needs. Use good health practices, engage in Bible study and participate safely groups that encourage. Don't isolate.

​We want to be ready when called.

Prayer:
Jesus Christ, our Savior, make us healthy in mind in spirit so that we are ready for Your call to be lifelines for others. Amen.
