Scripture:

Application:
Sin is a transaction. We bargain short-term gain for long-term pain. We sell ourselves short. Bad advice from wicked relatives and friends blinds us. But in the end, we lose. We'll be held accountable for our own actions. The sellout is never worth the cost.

Prayer:
Dear Lord Jesus, You sit on high and can see everything. When we are tempted to sell ourselves short through sin, please give us a view of what damage we are really doing to others and ourselves. Give us strength to resist bad advice from weak and wicked people close to us. Amen.
